The Game Awards Winners Will Be Revealed on December 12

As we are getting closer to the end of the year, Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards show earns more attentions from video game enthusiasts all over the world. The event which is known as the Oscars of video games – it’s definitely better than Oscars – will be holding on December 12 this year, and there are tons of great competitors in 2019 which will make it tough to choose the best one.

According to an official tweet by Keighley, The Game Awards will go live on December 12 from Los Angeles this year for the fifth consecutive year. Personally, I really love Keighley’s vision on The Game Awards event and the way it goes on every year. Aside from announcing winners and allowing them to talk briefly about their success, the show is a great opportunity for developers and publishers to present their upcoming titles.

Last year, Bioware confirmed its Dragon Age project at The Game Awards, while Nether Realm officially unveiled Mortal Kombat 11 as the event’s biggest surprise. This year, we would love to hear more about 2020’s biggest hits as well as getting surprised by some huge announcements from well-known developers such as Rocksteady.

When it comes to nominees and winners, this year would be a tough one for voters to choose the best in each category. Looking at review scores, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Devil May Cry 5, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Astral Chain and so many other titles deserve to be among the nominees in The Best Game category. Aside from the launched titles, there are also a bunch of promising titles on the way to December 12 that would shine even better the aforementioned games above.
