According to Fred Russell, a former developer for the Forza Motorsport franchise, the Forza Motorsport series has been cancelled. “Turn 10 Studios has shuttered the Forza Motorsport space and the team is no more. A very sad day for one of the best car racing video games. I loved my time there,” wrote Russell in a recent post. “The studio is open to support the Horizon side… shuttered the Forza Motorsport side only.” Additionally, according to recent reports developer Turn 10 has lost almost 50 percent of its staff. The studio was also preparing for the inevitable job cuts it received, and it was feared that the studio would be shut down.
