Tetris 99 Gets a Physical Launch in September on Switch

Tetris game series probably has the longest history in video game industry, which makes it to be named as the best-selling franchise of all time. Although regarding the official data, Minecraft holds the top spot in the world in terms of sales, some believe that if we take the unrecorded sales of Tetris during the previous decades into account, it will definitely surpass Minecraft.

Regardless of the argue on sales, Tetris is still a popular franchise with new entries of it releasing every now and again. Tetris 99 is a Nintendo Switch Online exclusive title that launched back in February 2019 and received a great reception from the subscribers of the service and now the player base for it is huge enough that a physical launch for the game is on the way to happen on September 6.

The physical edition of Tetris is packed with one-year subscription of Nintendo Switch Online and costs you $29.99. The pack also includes the Big Block DLC that adds new and offline modes to the game. Along with the physical launch of Tetris 99, the game will receive two new modes through Big Block expansion including an 8-player battle mode in Local Arena and a two-player Share Battle mode.
