Switch Receiving DC Universe Online Next Month

Day Break’s MMO DC Universe Online will land on the Nintendo Switch early next month as announced by Day Break Company during San Diego Comic Con and provide players with the opportunity to take their DC characters on the go for the first time. The game was announced earlier this year hoping to strike a comeback for the 2011 released title.

Unfortunately, Switch players who have previously played DC Universe Online on other platforms will not have the option of transferring data or characters to the upcoming Switch version. And while cross-play has yet to be confirmed for the release, the company did state that they’d like to explore the options of the online feature in the future.

DC Universe Online is set to hit the Switch on August 6, 2019 and continues as a free-to-play MMO title.
