Square Enix Announces Stay Home and Play Campaign

Coronavirus has most of the world grounded in their homes, but Steam, Epic Games and Ubisoft had announced special offer in their respective launchers in an attempt to keep people safe and entertained. Steam is offering Drawful 2 free to play until Saturday, April 11. Square Enix, has been the leader of a new campaign that will deliver players games to keep them entertained at home.

Stay Home and Play is the name of Square Enix’s campaign, Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be free to play for a limited time on on Steam.

We’re warmed by stories of communities banding together to support those in need during uncertain times, and by honoring directives intended to protect the most vulnerable among us. Gamers are part of a global community. We regularly rally together online to return balance to fantasy kingdoms, recruit crew to save the universe from sci-fi threats, and indulge in healthy competition through high-octane action games. For others, shifting to both online work and play is unfamiliar territory.

Steam is also offering Headsnatchers, Deiland and Goat Of Duty in a similar fashion, players will have plenty of options to keep them motivated at this though moment of crisis.

Headsnatchers is a 4-player local and online multiplayer party-game where players snatches friends’ heads to come out victorious.

Deiland, one of the games available on Steam, is a single-player adventure RPG with several sandbox elements, such as farming, crafting, and building. The game features 12 available characters and over 100 quests. Your little planet will attract lots of neighboring merchants wishing to trade materials and rare ingredients.

Goat of Duty is a fast-paced multiplayer shooter where goats armed to the horns bleat face to face in a relentless deathmatch. “Ram and troll your friends, don the craziest goatstumes, and put your skills to the test in the quirkiest FPS ever.”
