Season Two of Soulcalibur VI will begin on November 25, 2019 and will bring new content to the franchise’s most recent installment.
Some of the new content that will be arriving with season two includes new characters, battle mechanics, balance adjustments, and more. “A new update will improve fighters’ balance and introduce new moves for all the characters, adding new combo possibilities and new ways to overcome difficult situations.”
The season will also bring with it two new Battle Mechanics that will be usable by all characters:
- “The Soul Attack, a strengthened strike that can turn the tide of a battle.
- The Resist Impact, the ultimate defense move capable of repelling any attack including the currently unblockable ones.”
In addition, a returning character, Hilde, will be available starting on November 26, 2019 for DLC 7 owners and as part of the Season Pass 2. “More characters such as the previously announced Haohmaru from Samurai Shodown will join the roster during the Season 2.”
A trailer for Season Two has also been released.
Soulcalibur VI is a fighting game in the Soulcalibur franchise developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The sixth installment released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 19, 2018 with positive reviews from critics. The game features a series of returning and new characters, as well as over 100 slots for players to create custom fighters.
