Sony Even in june

Sony Might Have A Major Event This June – Rumor

During May, Sony gave us the first in depth look at the upcoming game Horizon: Forbidden West. 20 minutes of gameplay including underwater exploration, new abilities, and the revamped combat were all on full display. Unfortunately the one thing we did not get a look at was when we can expect the game to release. Now, it is looking like the wait to find out isn’t going to be as long as we thought. According to a new rumor Sony might have big plans for this month.

Disclaimer – This information has not been verified, therefore this is not factual.

According to new rumblings, Sony has planned a major press event to occur on June 28, 2021. An email intended for a company take part was allegedly leaked to the public offering a large number of potential offerings of what might happen there. It was first reported through a 4chan message board by user Eryeth.

The biggest piece of news that the email has supposedly leaked is the release date for the Horizon. If this is anything to go by we can expect the game to release November 30 (though even if this is correct, games still get delayed).  The claim did not specify if we would receive a new trailer or more gameplay footage.

Guerrilla Games will not be the only company to be in attendance for the even. The original poster then went on to state “…Sony Santa Monica studios, Capcom, Square Enix, Ubisoft, EA and others.” Would also be in attendance.

Other projects that were listed included the new remake from Square Enix and Bluepoint as well as a first look at PSVR 2.

It cannot be stated enough that all this should be taken with a grain of salt. Sony over the last few years has chosen to avoid E3, instead focusing on smaller State of Play streams released throughout the year. While this would obviously be separate from the larger gaming convention it is still strange timing.

If this Sony Experience event is real an announcement would most likely come in the next week or two.
