Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation Portal will see a price increase starting April 2. The company says the increase is due to “continued pressures in the global economic landscape.” The PlayStation 5 base console will see a $100 increase from its previous $549.99 price, and a $150 increase from its initial launch price of $499.99.
