The Shovel Knight sprite was designed by Masaya Suzuki at Inti Creates, who has been working on various sprites since the original Breath of Fire series and also the Mega Man Zero sprite.
Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 will release in Japan on August 25, North America in September 30, 2016 and later this year in Europe for Nintendo 3DS.
