Developer Frogwares released a trailer announcing the Kickstarter campaign for its recently announced Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened remake. The Kickstarter campaign, which is seeking $71,140, has currently raised over $70,000 with over one thousand backers at the time of writing, and is very close to reaching its goal. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is being rebuilt from the ground up with modern graphics and gameplay. The game will launch sometime in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. In Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened remake, players become Sherlock Holmes and find themselves “at the heart of the terrifying Cthulhu Mythos as you investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in Europe and the US.”
