Shadow of the Tomb Raider DLC ‘The Nightmare’ Launches On January 22
Square Enix and Eidos Montreal has just announced the next DLC to arrive for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, ‘The Nightmare’ is coming on January 22 and will be available as a free download to all Season Pass holders.
In ‘The Nightmare’ Lara will face familiar enemies and fallen friends, in order to obtain a powerful and mysterious weapon, Lara Croft must face the music in a brand-new challenge tomb, battle foes who look like but are not like any she’s ever faced, and confront the deadliest enemy of all: herself.

This upcoming DLC pack is the third out of seven “paths” that Square Enix will be releasing for the action-adventure title. If you purchased the season pass, each path will come free of charge, of course, and will come included with a challenge tomb, narrative side missions, weapons, skills, and outfits.
The Season Pass delivers seven new adventures called “Paths”, with each Path including new narrative, new missions, a Challenge Tomb, a new weapon, a new outfit and a new skill – one of each will be exclusive to the Season Pass! Some of the Challenge Tombs will also feature our new co-op functionality.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a vibrant jungle, overcome challenging tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will be forged into the Tomb Raider® she is destined to be.
Lara’s quest will take her from the bustling Mexican town of Cozumel to the dark heart of the Peruvian jungle where the hidden city of Paititi awaits. She’ll navigate complex underwater caverns, traverse spectacular landscapes, and discover challenging tombs filled with traps.
