Sales Numbers for Every Major First Party PlayStation Title Has Been Revealed

More details have been revealed from the recent leaks that affected Sony and Insomniac games. This time the leaked information exposes several sales records for the several Sony first party titles. According to the leak, The last of us 2 has sold over 10 million units, which pales in comparison to titles the first Last of Us on PS4, which has sold over 18 million units, Spider-Man with over 22 million units, Horizon Zero Dawn, which has sold over 19 million units, Uncharted 4 with over 18 million units, Gran Turismo Sport with over 12 million units, Spider-Man Miles Morales with over 11 million units, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart sold 2.7 Million units, Ghost of Tsushima sold over 7.6 million units, Bloodborne has also surpassed over 7.6 million units in its lifetime,  and God of War with over 21 million units, but Sony officially confirmed that the title had surpassed 23 million units, which means the leaked image showing the sales numbers may be slightly outdated. These numbers, if accurate, means the best selling title is either The first Spider-Man game or God of War. Meanwhile, the several sales numbers for several first party PlayStation titles on PC were also revealed as part of the recent Sony and Insomniac leaks.

Over 1.3 million stolen internal Insomniac files have been leaked to the internet following a recent hack by the ransomware group Rhysida. The documents were leaked after Insomniac Games refused to pay for the return of these files which amount to 1.67 terabytes of data. These files include confidential information about several of the studio’s upcoming projects, including several images, alpha footage, and concept art, as well as financial information, projections, release dates, and more. A significant part of the leak reveals a Venom game is in development along with several Spiderman titles in the pipeline.
