Several sales numbers for several first party PlayStation titles on PC have been revealed as part of the recent Sony and Insomniac leaks. According to the leaks, Horizon Zero Dawn is the best selling Sony first party title as it has sold over 3.3 million units worldwide as of February 2023. The next best selling title is God of War, which has sold over 2.5 million units, followed by Days Gone with over 1.7 million units sold. The next best selling title is Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered which has sold over 1.3 million units On PC as of February, and then Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection with over 483,000 units so far. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has sold over 450,000 units and Sackboy: A Big Adventure has almost 63,000 units sold thus far.
Over 1.3 million stolen internal Insomniac files have been leaked to the internet following a recent hack by the ransomware group Rhysida. The documents were leaked after Insomniac Games refused to pay for the return of these files which amount to 1.67 terabytes of data. These files include confidential information about several of the studio’s upcoming projects, including several images, alpha footage, and concept art, as well as financial information, projections, release dates, and more. A significant part of the leak reveals a Venom game is in development along with several Spiderman titles in the pipeline.
