Resident Evil Code: Veronica Remake Officially Announced

During Summer Game Fest 2026, Capcom released a new trailer announcing the highly rumored upcoming remake in the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil Veronica. The title is a remake of the 2000 Dreamcast game, Resident Evil Code: Veronica and is scheduled to launch sometime in 2027. The trailer shows protagonist Claire Redfield entering an apartment in Paris in search of her missing brother before being taken captive by a mysterious individual. It also showcases several locations, zombies, and more. According to prominent leaker NateTheHate back in January, the remake is targeting a “first half of 2027” release window.
