Resident Evil 2 REmake Ghost Survivors DLC Announced

Resident Evil 2 REmake will get a post launch DLC for free, it will be a new game mode called Ghost Survivors and it features lots of playable characters, it will feature an in-game shop where you can spend credits which players will get by playing the game. Ghost Survivors also comes with some original Resident Evil 2 skins for nostalgic players. The goal of Capcom is to make a game mode that offer players lots of replay value.

In this stream you can see the Leon’s 98 gameplay from 59:01 to 1:01:46

Hints it might be like a randomizor/rogue mode, but no 100% at this time. Confirm that Robert Kendo, a USS Member and Katherine (mayor’s daughter) are playable in it, surprisingly the characters from the main game not confirmed playable at this time (but say more characters to be revealed).

Not much more, but this mode seems it’ll be dished out in volumes over time, three volumes, the first one will hit at an unknown date, have Kendo, a USS Member, and Katherine playable. The mode may have a loose “alternate reality” story mode and randomized rogue-like mode, but it’s a bit unclear right now. Confirmed this first volume will include a brand new enemy that’s not in RE2 normally, and again is a free content update.

Using Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, Resident Evil 2 offers a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga with breathtakingly realistic visuals, heart-poundingly immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and modernized controls on top of gameplay modes from the original game. The classic action, tense exploration, and puzzle solving gameplay that defined the Resident Evil series returns.

Resident Evil 2 REmake it’s coming soon for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on this Friday.
