Bethesda’s Rage 2 finally hit the platforms last week and while the reviews for the game didn’t meet the expectations, it seems the number of sales might satisfy the publisher to show the green light for id Software and Avalanche Studios to work on the next title, though it’s just the first week statistics that we are talking about and also the sales couldn’t be better than the first entry of the series.

After Days Gone being at the top stage for three consecutive weeks, finally Rage 2 ended its domination and sit on the Iron Throne at its launch week. The game released on three typical platforms of the current-gen and PS4 owned the biggest part of the sale by 57%, while 38% of the sales have been done on Xbox One and finally PC gamers took the lowest share with just 5%. It’s worth noting that the physical sales for Rage 2 in first week was 1/4 in comparison to that of Rage in the same period back in 2011.

With Rage 2 standing at the top, Days Gone flopped into the second place which is still a good performance for and exclusive title in its 4th week of launch. FIFA 19 managed to save its previous stage at 3rd place, while Mortal Kombat 11 fell down to the 4th. Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 is still among the top 10 and took over the fifth place while the other big-production of the developer, Grand Theft Auto V, sees itself at two steps down at 7th place.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as the nominee for Nintendo, stood at 6th stage, while the second Nintendo game among top 10, New Super Mario Bros U, feels the edge of table in 10th place. Between the two titles from Nintendo, The Division 2 managed to place at 8th, while the recently released A Plague Tale: Innocence could find any place better than 9th.
