Plants VS Zombies 3

Plants vs Zombies 3 Soft Launches Today

Plants VS Zombies is a tower defense strategy game that made popular the genre in the beginnings of the last decade, following a successful sequel and a spinoff game, PopCap Games’ Executive Producer Bruce Maclean has announced that the next entry Plants VS Zombies 3 is going through a soft launch.

The game is made available only for Philippines, as they’re been appointed as the beta testers so to speak, the game will follow a F2P strategy, microtransactions will help players to progress the game a bit faster. Executive Bruce Maclean explains the reasons behind this decision.

While this game is definitely a labor of love here at PopCap, our families still gotta eat. So, we’ve added optional microtransactions that can help you speed up progression.

Players who want to participate in the soft launch will need to have an Android Galaxy S6 tier-device with KitKat (v.4.4) or higher, for iPhone owners they’ll need an iPhone 6S or higher, with at least iOS 13.1 or higher. PopCap Games does not have a release date for Plants VS Zombies 3 as it all depends on the test that is being done. But Bruce Maclean promises that the game will grow into “something really awesome”.

On behalf of PopCap Games, the creators of Plants vs. Zombies™, I’m extremely excited to share that Plants vs. Zombies 3 is entering soft launch in select territories, for technical testing. As we enter this next phase in our journey and leave our live pre-alpha testing period, our deepest and heartfelt thanks goes to those who played for their input and words of encouragement.

We listened and learned a lot, making some big changes during this period. And, we’re not done: We’ll still be growing the game and tweaking things throughout the soft launch period, with your feedback. As the game comes to your region, we invite you to join the journey with us!
