Phalanx – Hard Time Attack Speed Slaying Guide

Phalanx – Hard Time Attack Speed Slaying Guide

Phalanx is a really interesting colossus, and somewhat of a fun fight. For the most part, it’s very easy to kill him because there is a really good trick to annihilate him super fast. And I will be guiding you on how to execute this trick.  You get a whopping 10 minutes, 15 seconds to kill this guy, but what if I told you that you can do it in about 3 minutes?

At the start of the fight, turn around, jump on your horse, and equip your bow. In order to stagger Phalanx, you’ll have to shoot three of his sacs: the one under his tail, the one in the middle of his body, and the one near the head. You’ll only need one single arrow to land on each of the sacs to pop them, but it’s a bit tricky. You’ll be shooting him from far away and you’ll need them to be nearly fully-charged. Make sure you’re where you can easily hit them while you’re on your horse and try to lead with the arrows by shooting a bit ahead of the sacs, toward the direction Phalanx is moving.

Once you pop all of his sacs, Phalanx will let out his wings and stick them in the sand, which is going to make him slow down. You want to ride right up next to the wings. Once you’re close enough to jump off, Agro and grab on to one of the ledges on his wings. At this point, you just want to climb all the way to the top of his body and start tearing him apart.

Phalanx has three vital points that you need to hit in order to kill him: one near his head, another one in the middle, and another one near his tail. Now the trick is very simple, you DO NOT want to hit any of the sigils more than three times, because if you hit it more than three times, the sigil will get destroyed and Phalanx will close up his vital points. That means you’ll have to destroy his sacs and climb him again. Simply, hit each of the sigils three times and he will go down; super easy and fun to do.
