PENTA Sports wins Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League Finals in Katowice

The first season of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League competition just ended at the ESL arena in Katowice, Poland, where the world’s top eight teams on PC competed for a $237,500 total prize pool.

Over the weekend, PENTA Sports competed in multiple intense matches, beating the Brazilian team Black Dragons with a 2-0 victory in Sunday’s grand finals.

“In this second year of Pro League, we want to keep building on the solid foundations we settled last year. An ever-growing supporting community has been the key to our success,” said Alexandre Remy, brand director. “The teams that competed at the finals this weekend have proven how Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege can have its place among the key players of the eSports industry.”

Produced by Ubisoft Montreal during the Six Invitational that took place in Montreal in February, this 22-minute film is a deep dive into the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six pro competition scene. Follow two top pro players and a shoutcaster as they give viewers a never-before-seen look at their lives behind the scenes.

Follow Troy “Canadian” Jaroslawski as his team, Team Continuum, tries to defend its PC champion title. Watch as Sébastien “FuriouSG” Guérineau of Team Vitality from France competes for the very last time before retiring, with hopes of taking home a championship title. Michael “KiXSTAr” Stockley, a former professional Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six player turned shoutcaster, takes you behind the scenes to the largest eSports event he’s ever hosted.

Siege: The Rising Scene is a tribute to the hard work, courage and faith of the teams. Viewers are invited into the world of the teams in a different way, to better understand the sacrifices they make to be at the top.

The North American teams reigned supreme at the Xbox One Rainbow Six Pro League Finals, but the reverse was true for the PC Finals, with the top European teams facing off for the championship title. Although the rounds were close, PENTA Sports displayed the same dominance they showed all season and swept the match 2-0, becoming the very first PC Rainbow Six champions!
