Omen of Sorrow – New Vladislav Gameplay

Omen of Sorrow – New Vladislav Gameplay

AOne Games has released a new gameplay video of Omen of Sorrow showing Vladislav III fighting against Zafkiel from the fighting game’s Evolution 2017 build.

Omen of Sorrow is a new fighting game, with a setting inspired by literature, myth and horror.

From the AOne Games team comes this fantasy fighting game, featuring the monsters of classic horror and giving them a new twist. Delve into its rich mythology, and discover its fast paced combat in classic 2-D style–as you fight for your life against werewolves, vampires and other creatures of lore.

Zafkiel is an entirely new character, while Vladislav has been revamped and plays differently than before. For those who don’t know, Omen of Sorrow is a 2D fighting game powered by Unreal Engine 4 that pits fighters based off of characters from classical horror, fantasy, and mythology against each other. AOne Games is building the game’s fighting system to rely more on player skill than chance, and is trying to make the game accessible to both casual and fighting game players.

The game is in development for PlayStation 4.

Check out the Trailer:

“To show the game in such an early stage can be hard, but the core idea is to keep things going forward, and that’s why we are very grateful with all the people that took the time to come and try Omen of Sorrow, entrusting us very encouraging and helpful feedback that we’ll definitely use to guide development for the next couple of months.” Says, Max Kubler, AOne Games Executive Producer.
