“Bungie has released a new launch trailer for the upcoming PC version of Destiny 2, with the trailer giving a close up look at several of the features that PC players can enjoy from the game, including 4K resolution support, uncapped framerates, mouse and keyboard support with full custom key rebindings/mapping available,  21:9 ratio support, and much more.

We enjoyed Destiny 2 a great deal when it released on consoles in our full review of the game, though the PC players is sure to give Destiny fans an entirely new experience inside the game once it arrives on PC next week. As a PC player that’s been waiting patiently, I’m very much excited for the chance to play Destiny 2 with all the bells and whistles that the PC version will seem to offer.”

Destiny 2 is the sequel to 2014’s Destiny and its subsequent expansions. Set in a “mythic science fiction” world, the game features a multiplayer “shared-world” environment with elements of role-playing games. Like the original, activities in Destiny 2 are divided among player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP) game types.

In addition to normal story missions, PvE features three-player “strikes” and six-player raids. A free roam patrol mode is also available for each planet and features public events as well as new activities not featured in the original. These new activities have an emphasis on exploration of the planets and interactions with non-player characters (NPCs); the original Destiny only featured NPCs in social spaces. PvP features objective-based modes, as well as traditional deathmatch game modes.
