Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja today revealed the newest trailer for the upcoming Nioh 2, today more from the game’s story can be learned.

Nioh 2 is set in 1555, being a prequel of Nioh, the game also follows the period of warfare in Japan. In Nioh 2 players will learn to master the lethal arts of the samurai, evil spirits and monsters will appear as they take the role of a mute hired mercenary capable to unleash an inner yokai form.

Nioh 2 is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja, and published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment internationally. the game is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 on March 13, 2020.

The game is being developed by the acclaimed Team Ninja, a division of Koei Tecmo founded in 1995 as a part of Tecmo, It’s best known for being the creators of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive

Choose your method of combat: Follow the way of the samurai with traditional weapons including swords and hatchets, or fill your Amrita gauge to wield mighty Yokai abilities and destroy monstrous foes via a variety of mighty attacks.
