Nintendo’s Next-gen Console Will Have an 8-Inch Screen and 512 GB of Internal Storage

According to prominent leaker/ insider NateTheHate, the next Nintendo console will have an 8-inch LCD screen at launch, as opposed to the Nintendo Switch’s current 6.2-inch screen, and is rumored to have a 512 GB internal storage space as opposed to the Switch’s current 32 GB storage space. Additionally, it’s also claimed that the console will launch sometime between September and October of 2024. These claims support the recent reports from VGC and Eurogamer regarding the upcoming console, but have not been officially confirmed by Nintendo.

As of March 2023, the series has sold more than 130 million units worldwide.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch, the My Nintendo Store and select retailers at a suggested retail price of $69.99. The Nintendo Switch OLED Model – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition system, featuring a special design (game sold separately), is also available at a suggested retail price of $359.99.

Additionally, two accessories—a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller ($74.99 MSRP) and a Nintendo Switch carrying case ($24.99 MSRP), both with designs from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom—are also now available to purchase.
