Nintendo Could Be Working on a Mother Reboot – Rumor

According to a recent rumor, Nintendo could be launching several interesting games for the Nintendo Switch in 2021.

Disclaimer – This information has not been verified, therefore this is not factual.

The alleged insider who goes by the name Eclipse on Twitter affirms that up to 17 games will be added to the already impressive catalog of Nintendo Switch. Some of the rumored games are ports and remasters, the insider mentioned: Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Dark Souls 2 Remastered, Tales of Destiny (PS2) Zelda (Likely Ocarina of Time & Majora’s Mask).

Not sure if the following are ports or actual remakes yet Fossil Fighters (NDS/3DS) Time Splitters (PS2/GameCube/Xbox) Sonic (Very generic I know) ??? Virtual Boy Title (Likely R&D1) Of course there will be major new titles/remakes as well for well-known series.

New Upcoming Titles 2021/2022 (If you are looking for ports/remasters, see tweet above. Not mentioning already revealed games) SWITCH Mario Strikers, Wario Ware, Radiant Historia, Metroid 2D side-scroller (Alongside Prime 4) Sonic Spin-off (Alongside the mentioned Remaster)

There will be more oc, these are the ones I get to know, PS5 Gundam Breaker 4 Shadow of the Colossus (Again, it shouldn’t be a remake this time) STILL RUMORED Ring Fit Adventure + (New JoyCon features) Mii/Rock Star Game (Similar to Guitar Hero) Earthbound/Mother Reboot.

Eclipse claims that he has more than one source confirming this information. Being said this the insider does not have any reputation of having leaked anything that turned out to be real. Take all of this information with a huge grain of salt.

The Japanese giant won’t comment on any rumors or leaks, any evidence from Eclipse’s claims will probably take a long time before proved right or wrong. It’s expected that Nintendo will host at least two Nintendo Directs events in the summer revealing all the upcoming games for the Holiday season.
