The ninth entry in the long-running Ys action-RPG series is getting itself ready for release once it hits later this year in Japan. The latest trailer for Ys IX: Monstrum Nox gives fans a good look at the exciting gameplay, fast-paced exploration and intense combat situations.

The new Ys title is set for a release in Japan, but has yet to be confirmed for a western release later on. However, there have been a number of Ys titles in the series that have eventually made their way overseas, so it’s likely we could see a localization for Ys IX at some point in the future.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is set to release in Japan on September 26, 2019 for the PS4.
