NBA 2k21 was a disappointing release on Steam, but the development team is sure that the experience on next-gen consoles will be different, today, the next-gen reveal trailer promises more graphical fidelity and new features on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

NBA 2K21 next-gen gameplay is here. Captured on PlayStation 5, this is the first true look at what gamers can expect on next-generation consoles this November. NBA 2K21 will be available on November 12 for PlayStation®5 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and November 19 for PlayStation 5 in all other regions.
As mentioned above, the NBA 2k21 launch was disappointing, to say the least, bad reviews on Steam points at the game being just an update or a patch over the previous year’s version.
The development team promises that NBA 2K21 features best-in-class gameplay, competitive and community online features, and deep, varied game modes. Is important to mention that 2K Games have an exclusivity deal with the NBA to develop this kind of game, when 2K affirms that they showcase the “best-in-class” gameplay it is because they are only competing with themselves, something that it’s not helping the development team or the franchise.
