Moons of Madness

Moons of Madness Gets 12 Minutes of Gameplay Footage

Games inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s world have increased in number during the recent years. Last year in October, Call of Cthulhu launched by Focus Home Interactive as one of the anticipated narrative-driven titles of the industry, which didn’t meet the expectations at all and clearly was a failure for developers. A few months ago, Frogware released The Sinking City which was better than Call of Cthulhu but again failed to represent the standards that we expect from a Lovecraftian title. Now, the next game in the same line as the aforementioned titles is Moons of Madness, which attempted to use the same source in a whole new way.

Moons of Madness follows the story of an astronaut trapped within a spaceship. You’re going to take the role of a simple employee in a confidential mission. You just have to keep the lights of spaceship on until the support team reach Mars and you get back to Earth, but things never happen as they’ve been planned.

During your journey on Mars and within spaceship, you find out more details on the origin of the mission that the central organization have never informed you of. A mysterious signal has led you to the Mars and now you’re all alone with tons of horrifying sounds and scary creatures. Here you can check out the latest game play footage of the game:

Moons of Madness is set to be released on October 27 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
