Konami has announced that the Guy Savage nightmare mode from the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be featured in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. It will also be developed by PlatinumGames. It will be “a fully reimagined version that captures the essence of the original while providing a fresh new look”. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch on August 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. In the game, players “discover the origin story of iconic military operative Snake and begin to unravel the plot of the legendary Metal Gear series.” 
The mode’s description:“The ‘Guy Savage’ nightmare game returns in a fully reimagined version that captures the essence of the original while providing a fresh new look from PlatinumGames. Trigger the nightmare sequence during gameplay or clear the entire story mode to unlock it as a bonus mode.”
