Konami confirmed in a recent tweet that the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater multiplayer Fox Hunt mode will not support cross-platform play. Additional details such as why the decision was made or if the feature will be added at a later date is currently unknown. Konami recently announced that the Fox Hunt online mode will launch sometime this fall. The multiplayer mode shares the same world as the game but will feature “completely different” gameplay. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch on August 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. In the game, players “discover the origin story of iconic military operative Snake and begin to unravel the plot of the legendary Metal Gear series.”
