Maneater Gets Its First Gameplay Footage at E3 2019

E3 2019 hosted a lot of games in different genres and from different studios. Some of them like Cyberpunk 2077 was huge enough to be seen by every visitor but some other needed sharp-eyed visitors to show-off their capabilities in the crowded gaming event of the year. Maneater is one of those titles that premiered at PC Gaming Show with a cinematic trailer and now the first gameplay footage of it is available to watch.

Blindside Interactive has put some of wildest ideas in his new title that makes a totally different experience than any other game that you might have seen during this year’s E3. Maybe, the most similar experience to Maneater that you’ve had so far is Goat Simulator, but again, Maneater still distinguishes itself in multiple aspects. In this game, you will take the role of a brutal shark, which lives in seaside of a big city and has no mercy toward humans.

While in most of the games you are a human who fights against other threats including wild animals, this around you are that wild animal who wants to kill humans and eat them as a delicious meal. While your homeland is under the sea, you will be able to jump out of the water and get your targeted human beneath your teeth in a blink of an eye. The game will use dynamic day-night cycle and the player is able to hunt his meals in beach, or jump and catch them on boats or in an easier way, just target the poor swimmers at sea.

However, as a shark, you also encounter with threats both under the sea and outside of it. While humans might attack you with guns and bullets outside of the sea, the world beneath the water is also have its own dangers with crocodiles and alligators roaming around as your biggest rivals to claim the throne of underwater world.

Maneater will be available in 2019 for PC exclusively via Epic Games Store.
