Madden 21 Cover and New Features Revealed

EA Sports has today revealed the cover star for the upcoming Madden 21, NFL’s MVP Lamar Jackson will be the image for the game, a new trailer also suggest that players will count with new ways to evade and jump over defenders.

Jackson on the cover was a obvious choice for the studio, the Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback had a stunning performance in the 19/20 season, managing to throw for 36 touchdowns, running for 7 and leading his team back to the playoffs.

EA Sports confirmed that Madden 21 will launch on PC, Xbox One and PS4. A PS5 and Xbox Series X version will arrive after the launch of the consoles. Series X owners won’t have to buy the game twice as the title is included in the Smart Delivery feature of the next gen console.

EA Sports also confirmed that PlayStation 5 owners will also receive a free upgrade of Madden NFL 21, thanks to a partnership with Sony.
This offer will be in place all the way through the Madden NFL 21 season, up to the release of Madden NFL 22, so players can upgrade whenever they first purchase their new console within that period. Offer exceptions apply. Physical discs cannot currently be used to upgrade to disc-less consoles.
