LittleBigPlanet 3 Servers Have Been Permanently Taken Down

In a recent post from the official LittleBigPlanet 3 Twitter account, Sony announced that the online servers for the game have been taken down indefinitely. This follows months after the game was taken offline “temporarily” due the technical issues the title was facing earlier in January. However, what’s worse is that all the user creations made throughout the game’s lifespan have been lost forever. “Due to ongoing technical issues which resulted in the LittleBigPlanet 3 servers for PS4 being taken offline temporarily in January 2024, the decision has been made to keep the servers offline indefinitely”. Read the post. “All online services including access to other players’ creations for LittleBigPlanet 3 are no longer available.” LittleBigPlanet3 first launched on November 18, 2014 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Due to ongoing technical issues which resulted in the LittleBigPlanet™ 3 servers for PlayStation®4 being taken offline temporarily in January 2024, the decision has been made to keep the servers offline indefinitely.

All online services including access to other players’ creations for LittleBigPlanet 3 are no longer available.

User generated content (UGC) stored locally on your PS4™ will remain available.

Any new UGC you create can be played on your PS4 but not shared.

Offline features such as the campaign will remain playable.

  • Add your voice or any sounds you like to your created levels with the PS4 headset.

  • Draw shapes to create your own levels with the DUALSHOCK®4 touch pad.
