Link-a-Pix Colour Will be Released for the Nintendo 3DS on January 18th

Lightwood Games announced that their new picture puzzle game, Link-a-Pix Colour, will be released on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on January 18th. Link-a-Pix is a clue-linking puzzle where every grid has a picture hidden inside. The aim is to reveal the picture by painting paths to link the clues.

Check out the trailer of Link-a-Pix Colour, featuring some gameplay footage:

“The puzzle is solved by connecting pairs of clues which have the same colour and number. The number shows the length of the line which will connect them.

This game is Lightwood’s third picture puzzle game to feature puzzles by Conceptis Ltd, the world’s leading supplier of logic puzzles.
It follows previous titles Pic-a-Pix Colour, a colour nonogram game, and Phil’s Epic Fill-a-Pix Adventure, a cross between picross and minesweeper.

Link-a-Pix Colour contains 120 puzzles which, as the name suggests, produce full colour pixel art when solved. The results are cute, detailed pictures which have been carefully hand-crafted and are guaranteed to be uniquely solvable.

Link-a-Pix Colour supports English, French, German and Spanish. It is, of course, spelled “Link-a- Pix Color” in the United States.

About Lightwood Games

Lightwood Games is a specialist developer of puzzle games. The company began developing games for iOS in 2010 and the first app released by Lightwood Games – Word Search Party – was launched later that year. It was downloaded more than two million times.

Lightwood Games is an authorised Nintendo developer and is committed to creating games that benefit from the unique features of their consoles.
The company has released several titles for Nintendo 3DS. The “by POWGI”
puzzle collections and the “Epic Word Search” series are designed as take-anywhere word puzzles which can be played quickly during any spare moment.

On Wii U, Word Search by POWGI was enhanced to add a multiplayer mode for either cooperative or competitive play, which led to the development of Word Party as an entirely competitive word game. Word Puzzles by POWGI was the first independent title to support every single amiiboTM figure.

Lightwood have previously partnered with Conceptis Ltd to produce other logic puzzle games including Sudoku Party and Pic-a-Pix Colour. An enhanced Pic-a-Pix Deluxe was recently released for Nintendo Switch, adding brand new puzzles and a multiplayer feature to the game.

Lightwood will be bringing more games to Nintendo Switch in 2018.”
