Gameforge today announced the official release of Kingdom Under Fire 2 to the Asian market, the long-awaited new chapter in South Korean developer Blueside’s award-winning Kingdom Under Fire series.
Kingdom Under Fire 2 combines the real-time strategy and massively multiplayer online genres, an ambitious undertaking indeed. Players must master tactics, win victories, and strategize the fall of kingdoms as they recruit units from twelve different factions. Gamers can also team up with allies, taking direct control of a colossal war machine, dominating Bersia’s battlefields in epic real-time strategy encounters.

Kingdom Under Fire 2 is set in a world where three powerful factions—the Human Alliance, Dark Legion, and Encablossians— compete for control over the land of Bersia. Players can choose from several hero classes and focus on building up their individual characters or command massive armies as war strategists. This latest entry in the franchise takes place 50 years after the events of Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders and features an immersive story-driven online campaign, playable solo or multiplayer.
The armies of Kingdom Under Fire 2 host a bevy of diverse troops, including archers, sorcerers, ogres and wizards. Gamers can choose the perfect mix from over 80 different troops in order to conquer the battlefield. An endless array of possibilities exists, as players can combine magic with brute strength, crusaders with mortarmen, melee brawlers with ranged sharpshooters, and more.
The game is available today, for purchase in three editions: priced at $29.99 USD (€29.99), $49.99 USD (€49.99), and $99.99 USD (€99.99) from the official Gameforge site.
