Hogwarts Legacy Delayed to 2022

Warner Bros Games along with Portkey Games has just announced that its Harry Potter RPG, Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed to 2022.

In an official tweet, the development team explains that in order to create the best possible experience for all of the ‘Wizarding World’, is crucial for the development team to have all the time it needs.

“We would like to thank fans around the world for the tremendous reaction to the announcement of Hogwarts Legacy”

The recently announced Hogwarts Legacy is perhaps the most ambitious project based on Harry Potter, the game will feature an immersive, open-world action role-playing setting based on the J.K. Rowlings’.

According to the development team, players will take control of the action and will be the protagonist of a unique adventure in the wizarding world.

Embark on a journey through familiar and new locations as you explore and discover fantastic beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents, and become the wizard you want to be.

The game takes place in Hogwarts in the 1800s, the main character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Players will start their journey with a late acceptance to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and soon they will discover the unusual ability to perceive and master Ancient Magic.

It’s up to the player to decide to protect this secret for the good of all, or yield to the temptation of more sinister magic. The decision will ultimately decide the fate of the wizarding world.

Hogwarts Legacy is being produced at Avalanche Software, a subsidiary of Warner Bros Games. The game was announced to be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
