Google Stadia Premiere Edition Is Now $30 Cheaper

Google has decided to lower the price of the subscription of the Stadia Premiere Edition, the bundle is now being offered at $30 cheaper than the initial offer. New buyers will need to spend $99.99 in order to get the Chromecast Ultra and the Stadia Controller. The Premiere Edition of Stadia has now dropped the three months of Stadia Pro that was originally included in the bundle.

The new, Stadia Premiere Edition, offers a single month of the Stadia Pro service, subscribers will be able to continue the service for $9.99 per month, granting the user 4k streaming and free games each month. A free version is also available, capped at 1080p without free games.

Back in April, 2020, at Stadia Connect EA confirmed their partnership with Google Stadia, five games will arrive the streaming service in the following months, FIFA 21, Madden NFL 21 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are some of the games to arrive the platform. The next two games will be announced later this year.

“Cloud is opening up exciting new possibilities for play. In partnering with Google Stadia, we have an opportunity to deliver some creative and innovative game experiences on an exciting new platform.” Said EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson.

Google Stadia’s Phil Harrison also shared a few words of what this partnership means for the streaming service.

“We’re thrilled to see some of Electronic Arts’ biggest hits come to the Stadia. I can’t wait to play EA SPORTS FIFAMadden NFL, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on my favorite screens instantly with the simple click of a button,”

Google has recently announced a new studio based on Playa Vista, California, this studio will be led by former Sony’s Santa Monica Head Shannon Studstill. The studio currently does not have a name, but is part of Stadia Games, Google’s take on Xbox Game Studios, a force of several small studios who will develop exclusive games for Google.
