The return of the god almighty Kratos is almost upon us. On April 20th, 2018 Kratos and his son Atreus will begin their legendary adventure in the new Norse mythology world that’s filled with fantastical creatures and gods. Kratos’s whos still an immortal is now going to be learning what it is to be human thanks to his son, Atreus and his son will learn what it is like to be an immortal god.
This new entry will feature a completely brand new story after the follow up of God of War III, RPG systems such as leveling, talents, crafting and more, much bigger emphasis on exploration this time around and a hub world that is inspired by Bloodborne. Of course, it would not be a God of War game without brutal violence, satisfying combat, intriguing story, and most importantly awesome mythical creatures to fight on an epic scale. However, the addition of a permanent AI companion (Kratos’s son – Atreus) may or may not turn off some of the fans of the original God of War games due having too much similarity with The Last of us. Will Atreus truly ruin the ever-loving gory and bloody God of War experience? We will find out when the game launches on April 20th, 2018.
