Ghost Recon: Wildlands Gets Mercenaries Mode for Free Tomorrow

In less than three months, Ghost Recon series is going to get its new entry, but Ubisoft still continues supporting Ghost Recon: Wildlands with new modes and updates. The next free content to be added to Wildlands is a new mode called Mercenaries.

Through the new PvE mode, you’re going to work along with other players while at the end compete with them to become the winner. In Mercenaries you are tasked to locate an extraction point, call the helicopter and get out of the place before any other player to win. 8 players start the game and help each other to find transmitters and find a specific location on the map, which is the extraction point. Once the chopper reaches the point, its location becomes available on the map for each player, and the first one of them to get in the chopper is winner of the game, who gets some newly added rewards such as Lone Wolf Costume, which will be handed to each player that takes part in the new mode for the first time.

Mercenaries is completely free and is going to be available across all platforms as of tomorrow. Regarding the mode’s initial requirement for 8 players, it might take a bit longer to start every match and that’s why Ubisoft has considered some new cosmetic rewards for those whole play Mercenaries.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Breakpoint, Wildland’s sequel, will be launching in October this year.
