The Versus Tech Test for Gears 5 will be going live from July 19 and people who have pre-ordered the game or got Xbox Game Pass subscription on PC or Xbox One will be able to jump in the test and play the upcoming sequel for Gears of War for the first time on their own platform.
Prior to the start of the test, The Coalition has shared two new in-game videos from Gears 5, explaining Escalation mode and its improvements, along with unveiling a new map called District.
Escalation mode for Gears 5 has been detailed in 4 sections during the video above. First, we get to know about the basic principles of the mode and what you need to do to win the match. Then, the video talks about Spawn system, weapon pick-up and some other features of the mode that you can find out here:
The next video is an announcement trailer for the map of District in Gears 5, which will be available during the upcoming test for the players.
Gears 5 will be launched in September 10 and the test for it ends on July 21.
