Gaijin Entertainment’s new Live Action Teaser for War Thunder

Gaijin Entertainment’s new Live Action Teaser for War Thunder

Gaijin Entertainment, developer and publisher behind the MMO hit War Thunder, released a short video today featuring WW2 infantry combat with live actors in heated city combat. The clip invites viewers to visit and subscribe to the newsletter at, where more info is announced to be unveiled on Monday, December 12th.

The video emphasizes how important the combined actions of each individual were for overall victory, whether dogfighting with the enemy in the skies as a pilot, or engaging in heated ground based combat as a tanker to support ground troops. In October 1941, the German Army Group Centre advanced on Moscow. Only after six months of intense fighting was the enemy able to be repelled from the capital. In the war torn fields near Moscow the first major defeat of the German army in World War II occurred against the might of its armed forces, and on 9th of May 1945, after the Battle of Berlin, Germany surrendered.

Check out the Teaser:

“The video highlights the emphasis of combined effort it took for victory, including dogfighting pilots and tank drivers supporting infantry. In particular, the trailer highlights the Germans and Russians locked in an offensive that lasted six months during the war when Germany advanced on Moscow in 1941. It’s a pretty nifty little video full of near miss bullets and some decent camera work for a live action trailer of this scale for a video game.

War Thunder is currently in open beta on PC and Mac, with versions available on PS4 and OnLive as well. Development is also underway to bring the WWII game to mobile devices and to support Oculus Rift. You can checkout the game’s official website to learn more and download the game.”
