Fortnite Has Grossed Over $203 Million Last Month; FIFA 19 Generated $93 Million

Online multiplayer games, especially Battle Royale titles, are still dominating the sales charts, according to the latest report from SuperData Arcade. Fortnite, FIFA 19, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and League of Legends are some of the best-selling titles through the May 2019.

Starting with Fortnite, Epic Games most profitable game to date saw a decrease in sales compared to the same period of 2018, but still it has made $203 million on all available platforms during the last May. While the game is totally free to play, most of its revenue comes from cosmetic items, battle passes and loot boxes.

On the other hand, PUBG has also experienced a considerable amount of sales from the beginning of this year up until May. The game has sold over 4.7 million units digitally on PC and consoles, regarding that the game is available through Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One.

Looking over sports titles, FIFA 19 and NBA 2K19 stood on second and fourth places for best-in-revenue-earning through consoles in May 2019. Speaking of EA Sports’ most popular title, FIFA 19 has earned $93 million so far across all available platforms.

When it comes to mobile games, Honour of Kings, Perfect World, Candy Crush Saga and Clash of Clans hold the stages from first to fourth in the table. Here you can check out the full list for earnings of the games on each platform during the last month:
