FIFA 20

FIFA 20 Fully Revealed at E3 2019; VOLTA Football and Gameplay Improvements Detailed

EA Play 2019 is now live and we are about to cover every bit of details that are being shared with fans in Los Angeles. After premiering first gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and introducing new maps for Battlefiled V, along with delivering new information on Apex Legends’ season two, now it’s time for FIFA 20.

First new addition to FIFA 20 is VOLTA Football which is a brand new way to play FIFA in streets. VOLTA is a new mode that allows you to experience soccer in a more arcade way by taking players to streets and urban matches. All lisenced teams will be available in VOLTA with multiple pitches in different locations of the world. VOLTA is a skill-based type of soccer and you will be able to play it in 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5 modes.

In VOLTA, you can have your own characters and teams including both men and women to play against each other. You will have access to a detailed customization system to choose your shirts, shoes and style and even tattoos.

Following the show, lead designer of FIFA 20 introduced Football Intelligence as a new pack of features in the game that has been shaped from three parts: On the ball, Off the ball and the ball itself. When you have the ball, Football Intelligence will help you more in 1v1 chances and shootings, when it comes to “off the ball” we will get to experience some improvements on defensive tactics and moves. Finally, the ball itself is going to use a totally new physics and system that delivers more realistic way play.

Along with these new systems, we will also see new improvements in gameplay that are named Composed Finishing, Strive Dribbling, Control Tackling and finally a whole new system for Penalties and Free-kicks.

FIFA 20 will launch on September 27 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. Those who have EA Access subscription will be able to get their hands on the game from Sep 19. More details about changes in the game’s other modes like Career will be shared later.
