As spotted by a Reddit user on the official Fallout subreddit, a listing for new McFarlane Toys has seemingly indicated that Fallout 3 Remastered will receive an “Elite Edition.” If true, this would strongly suggest that Fallout 3 is getting a remastered version, especially following recent rumors and reports claiming the same. The specific listing from Toys News International mentions a “T-45B Nuka Cola” figure that will be seven inches in length. Several fans have theorized that the product is a Nuka-Cola branded power armor figure based on the T-45 power armor.
According to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, Fallout 3 is set to receive a remaster similar to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Corden also stated that the recently discovered teaser site from Amazon for the Fallout TV show is not pointing to a new Fallout game announcement. He added that the Fallout 3 remaster is expected to launch “eventually,” and also claimed that Fallout: New Vegas will receive a similar treatment. Additionally, industry insider NateTheHate stated in January that Fallout 3 Remastered is a “planned release” for Bethesda, though a release window has yet to be revealed.
