Square Enix held their stream for E3 today. The show contained many exciting announcements and was packed to the brim with trailers and update news. If you didn’t have a chance to tune in you can find a brief overview of the announcements below.

The trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy kicked us off for the Square Enix Presents live stream. We received an in-depth look at the game and a deep-dive of gameplay. 

Many fans were pleased to see Life Is Strange Remastered Collection at this conference. The graphics will see quite the upgrade. The scheduled release date is September 10th, 2021. 

Following the announcement of the remaster, Square Enix announced that the follow-up game in the series, Life Is Strange: True Colors will also be available on September the 10th. The developers spent some time speaking about how the feature of Empathy works within the game and how choices will influence gameplay.

The War for Wakanda expansion for Marvel’s Avengers will be available this August. Square Enix offers this description for the expansion:

“Ulysses Klaue has made his way to Wakanda, intent on stealing Vibranium for his own selfish needs. Black Panther brings the Avengers and his fellow Wakandans, like Shuri and Okoye, together to defend his home from the incoming threat. We also showed off a brand-new type of enemy: Crawlers!”

Babylon’s Fall fans finally received good news from Square Enix today. As a player, you will take the role of a Sentinel – part of a group of powerful warriors. With a group of other players, you’ll enter the titanic Tower of Babylon in search of a great legacy that sleeps within.

For many FINAL FANTASY fans, the 2d remasters of the first six games was an exciting announcement. Upon release, they will be available separately for Steam and mobile platforms.

Final Fantasy VII THE FIRST SOLDIER takes players through an intense battle royale, which pits them against each other to see who will be the last soldier standing.

A new FINAL FANTASY spin-off, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, will debut in 2022. However, there will be a trial version of the game available for PS5 starting today through June 24th. 

Other titles we learned more about today included Legends of Mana, Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier, Nier Reincarnation, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, and more. Overall, we have a lot to be excited about when it comes to upcoming games from Square Enix.
