Epic Games Store Announces Three Free Games

Holidays are over, but not in Epic Games Store, as today they have announced three more games: Darksiders, Darksiders 2, and Steep. The three games are now available for free to all subscribers.

For day 14 of Epic Games’ offers the remastered versions of the hack ‘n slash hits from Vigil Games, both of the Darksiders games are special editions and will feature all the content available. Darksiders and Darksiders 2 showcases a fast role-playing action along with several playstyles and vast equipment to choose from. Players will enjoy an open-world full of secrets, challenges and various puzzles to unlock.

Ubisoft’s Steep is also available for free. This sports game lets players ride among friends across the Alp. Skis, wingsuits, snowboards, and paragliders are available, as well as all kinds of tricks and skills. In Steep, all players share the same world as they engage in the different activities available, a pair of binoculars must be used in order to discover secret areas in the game, unlocking hidden races and challenges.

Steep features a nonlinear story following the chosen character as they try to achieve the rank of “Ultimate Legend.” To attain the legendary status, players must complete all tasks in the six disciplines available in the game. A trick system is implemented. Players will receive points when they perform tricks and special maneuvers, and when a player excels in a race they are awarded with a medal.

Steep has received a lot of DLC since its launch, but the version available at Epic Games Store won’t include any additional content from the base game.

In order to download these games, players must create a free Epic Games Store account; once the game is added to their library, it won’t expire.
