According to Rabbit & Bear Studio in a Reddit AMA, the studio will be “moving forward with a sequel” despite the recent death of Suikoden creator and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes scenario writer Yoshitaka Murayama. When asked if his death will affect any future plans, the studio responded by saying:
We are moving forward with a sequel. It is very sad that Murayama is not with us anymore, but we have discussed many things with him. I hope we will be able to carry on Murayama’s legacy, and I always want to treasure his last work. I hope many people will support this game.” Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will launch on April 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. It will also be on Xbox Game Pass.

Story
Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values. The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic.
