New Dragon Quest news is set to be revealed next month as was detailed in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. The “surprising news” was only stated to reveal Dragon Quest related news, but never detailed as to which title/series in the Dragon Quest franchise it would cover.
There’s already plenty of speculation as to what this news might reveal. A new DQ Monsters title has already been teased last year to be in development, while series creator Yuji Horii as also detailed a new DLC exclusive to the DQ XI Switch release will also be on its way – and stated more details on the DLC “Voice Drama” will be revealed in June.
The new DLC is said to pull back the curtains on the many characters from DQXI title, allowing each character to star as the protagonist in their own back story adventure.
