Don’t Expect Any New Details on Elden Ring at Tokyo Game Show 2019

Not as disturbing as Hideo Kojima, but Hidetaka Miyazaki loves to plot in the shadows and tease its new projects step-by-step just like the way he did for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Revealing a brief teaser at the first place, and detailing the project after a long period with no further information. Presumably, the same thing will be happening to Elden Ring as well, though we hope to see a new presentation of the game before we reach the end of this year.

Bad news for FromSoftware fans is that the game won’t be making an appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2019 after skipping Gamescom 2019 earlier this week. The news was officially confirmed after Bandai Namco revealed its list of presentations for TGS 2019, and well, there wasn’t anything about Elden Ring in scheduled plans.

Elden Ring was originally revealed at this year’s E3 with a cinematic trailer representing some strange characters and a mysterious world which have been built in collaboration with George R.R. Martin, the author behind A Game of Thrones book series.

According to Miyazaki, Elden Ring is an open-world third-person action which represents a much bigger environment than Dark Souls series with difficult combats that won’t let you get over the obstacles without being challenged for hundreds of times.

Elden Ring is set to be launched in an unspecified date for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We are looking forward to hear more about the game at The Game Awards 2019 or Paris Game Week.
