Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game Officially Announced

Next year earlier in Spring, we’ll be counting down the hours to play Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt RED’s ground-breaking title has made a name for itself so far thanks to epic trailers, creative gameplay mechanics and featuring a Hollywood star like Keanu Reeves. By the end of this month, we will be getting the second gameplay footage for Cyberpunk 2077, but before that, here is a new announcement related to the upcoming action-RPG: Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game.

A few minutes ago, official Twitter account for Cyberpunk 2077 revealed a board game based on the upcoming title of CD Projekt RED, which will take you into the dark and dangerous streets of Night City in order to win a war against mega-corporations. According to the details provided for the card game, you will play as one of the Fixers, who are tasked to recruit some cyberpunks, gear them up and send them into the middle of a battlefield against corporations that are controlling Night City. If you finish the missions successfully, you will get extra Street Cred, while your futuristic soldiers will become veterans.

Everything you want to do will need money and this is the point where you have to make a balance. You have to have a wise strategy on where to spend your money and how to encounter with your enemies. Nothing will be easy-to-achieve at Night City.

Afterlife will be available next year, but CDPR hasn’t provided an exact release date yet, though it’s expected to come after the main game’s launch in order to avoid an spoilers on Cyberpunk 2077.

In other news from CD Projekt RED, the developer recently detailed its presence at Gamescom 2019 along with giving more info on the Cosplay Context competition.
