Alternative Software Ltd, announced today the release of Bug N Out developed by Neuron Games on the Steam platform.

Bug N Out is a coin-op style action arcade game that brings hours of non-stop action.

Alternative Software was first established in 1985, and is now celebrating its 31st Anniversary, also is considered one of the major companies in the UK computer industry. Having over 400 titles to its name, the company is still a growing global success.

In more recent times the company has released several “Top Forty” video games on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Sony PSP, Sony Vita and Nintendo Wii as well as on PC. Alternative(in association with Australian company, HES (Home Entertainment Supplies) launched “Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge”, “Rugby League Live 3” and the recently released “Rugby Challenge 3” amongst other games, to tremendous consumer and critical reception.

Alternative Software is also involved with several major film companies, gaining the rights to produce software for huge films such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Shrek, Madagascar, Wallace & Gromit, Transformers, Marvel Heroes, plus many more.

Neuron Games is a video game development studio specializing in the development of entertainment software for Windows, Xbox, iPad / iPhone, Android, and Linux. Comprised of software engineers with more than 40 years combined experience in design, implementation, and testing of software solutions and interactive entertainment.

Neuron takes pride in its ability to create video games of the highest quality by leveraging the most advanced technology available. Established in 1997 by Randell and Cathy Trulson, Neuron was originally setup as a hobby company. With its first release of “The Farm Game” for DOS that got downloaded 100’s of thousands of times, it was clear that the company wouldn’t be a hobby forever.
